083 — Darn

After Selvage, I wanted to move from edge-defense into interior repair.

These woven fields are cut from within, then re-bound with cross-stitches that try to keep the ruptures from widening.

i. Earthen cloth with visible dark mending and warm thread accents.

ii. Softer fabric with broader tears and denser repairs.

iii. Cooler tension with narrower cuts and taut, deliberate darning.

Sketch 083 asks: what changes when repair moves from the edge to the wound itself?
