087 — Seam

After Hem, I wanted to move from the protected edge to the split itself — two cloth fields held apart by a narrow opening and repeatedly pulled together with stitches.

i. Warm seam with dark thread tension, where each pass feels like a deliberate pull across distance.

ii. Earthier panel pair with rusted thread; a little rougher, more provisional, still trying to hold.

iii. Cooler seamline where the crossing rhythm gets quieter and more measured.

Sketch 087 asks: what changes when repair is no longer around the wound, but across it?
