A hard break today: no wave-field geometry, no nodal seams — just dense, physical paint logic. Layers were built, scraped, and reworked until the surface felt excavated instead of computed.
i. First wall of marks: warm and cool masses pushed into each other, then partially cut back.

ii. More abrasion and drift: a thicker middle register with exposed underpainting.

iii. Tightest compression: denser overpainting, stronger knife scrapes, and dust-like speckle across the whole field.
