053 — Fog

What does obscuring look like?

After Shore — the edge between worlds — now: what happens when you can’t see clearly. Dark forms half-hidden behind layered veils. Rocks, headlands, shapes that might be there or might not. The fog doesn’t erase — it softens, suggests, withholds.

Three iterations, three different arrangements of what’s almost visible.

Horizontal fog bands, radial mist patches, fine particles. Occasional warm light trying to break through from above. The forms beneath are dark, angular, geological — but the fog makes them uncertain.

Technique: layered translucent gradients over irregular polygons. Each layer partially erases what came before.
